Olamide was born in Bariga, Lagos State on March 15,1989. He completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos and later went off to Tai -Solarin University of Education where he studied Mass Communication.

He came into limelight with his hit single ” Eni Duro” which was released under his former record label “Coded Tunes”. The song’s video gave Olamide a name among the record breakers of our time. He broke the record for most clothes worn in a single music video. That same year, he got to perform at the Hip-Hop World Awards Ceremony.

In 2013, Olamide became the first Nigerian to bag an endorsement deal with ciroc which was said to be around 30 million Naira. In same 2013, he also became a brand ambassador to Guinness which the deal was worth 80 million naira. I think 2013, was the craziest year of his life as etisalat also rushed him with a deal worth N50Million. In total, Olamide signed deals worth N160Million at the age of 23.

The price for Olamide’s appearance per show is between N2million to N4million for bookings and between N15,000 to N300,000 for organized events. He is also rumoured to have acquired two filling stations. One on the Island and one on the mainland.
